STEAM Tech Teams
STEAM Tech Teams brings Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) into local schools via various programs in competition robotics, Neuroscience through Magic, Biochemistry, 3D Design & Printing, Drone flight and basic electronics and computing.  We can accommodate your desire to make a minimal or a longer-term commitment.  There are support and training programs for any of the projects.

Volunteer Opportunities:   

Course/Program Designer
Volunteers design/implement specific programs that will be used by STEAM Tech Teams.  Hours vary during school days and summers, ongoing. No training required

Other requirements of participation:  enthusiasm for promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math in our schools.

Program Mentor
Volunteers work in the classroom (with students, teachers, and other volunteers) and at other events such as shows/exhibit tables and volunteer recruiting events. Volunteer 2-8 hours per week, during the school day and/or some summer sessions. Training varies, depending on the project. Other requirements of participation:  enthusiasm for promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math in our schools.

Support Volunteer
Volunteer help with advertising, website maintenance, data bases and coordination. Hours vary and can be flexible. Some work can be done from home, ongoing. Training depends on volunteer position. Other requirements of participation:  enthusiasm for promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math in our schools.
