Miracle Hill Women’s Renewal Program

The Miracle Hill Women’s Renewal Program is part of Miracle Hill Ministries It is located at 19 Graves Drive (29609). It offers a six-month residential program using the 12-step model for women whose lives have become unmanageable due to abuse of alcohol or other substances. Miracle Hill Shepherd’s Gate is a place of hope for women who are homeless and in dire need. It is located at 490 South Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville (29607)

Volunteer Opportunities:

Life Skills Instructor, Renewal Center: Provide instruction regarding money matters, etiquette, business, health, interviewing skills, etc. This can be a one-time event or a series as determined by volunteer. Time will be based on volunteer’s availability and coordination with the Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteer will complete a volunteer application form and attend an orientation.

Creative Arts Volunteer, Renewal Center: Provide opportunities for participation in creative arts (leather work, making jewelry, painting etc.). This can be a one-time event or a series as determined by volunteer. Time will be based on volunteer’s availability and coordination with the Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteer will complete a volunteer application form and attend an orientation.

Music Appreciation Volunteer, Renewal Center: Provide opportunities for guests to listen to or participate in musical activities (must be classical or Christian music). This can be one time or multiple times. Time needed will be based on volunteer’s availability and coordination with the Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteer will complete a volunteer application form and attend an orientation.

Front Desk Volunteer, Renewal Center and Shepherd’s Gate: Answer phone, take messages, greet donors and/or fill out donor forms. This can be done at the Women’s Renewal Center or Shepherd’s Gate. Time needed: Monday – Friday. At Miracle Hill Renewal Center two shifts are available (9-1 or 1-5).

At Miracle Hill’s Shepherd’s Gate hours are available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and hours can be flexible depending on volunteer’s availability. A 30-60 minute training session is required, and volunteer forms must be completed.
