Mill Community Ministries

Brief Description of Organization: Mill Community Ministries is a collection of social entrepreneurs working to develop communities for success in Greenville, South Carolina. We are a group dedicated to seeing individuals and communities thrive. We are Mill Village Farms, Village Wrench, and Nasha Lending.

Volunteer Position: Garden Assistant
Help harvest, wash, pack, plant and weed in our greenhouse
Volunteers needed 8:30am -12:30pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays (FlexibleDays/hours) Bring work gloves, bug spray and drinking water

Volunteer Position: Box Assembler (103 S. Texas Avenue, near St Francis)
Work with a team to assemble cardboard boxes and tape together at church gym
Volunteers needed every other Tuesday from 11am to 1pm

Volunteer Position: Produce Packer (103 S. Texas Avenue, near St Francis)
Work with a team to pack boxes of produce to be provided to people in food deserts
Volunteers needed every other Wednesday from 8:30am to 9:30am

Volunteer Position: Route Delivery (pick up from 103 S. Texas Avenue, near St Francis)
Pick up boxes of fresh food and deliver to specific sites (within 3 miles of pick up)
Collect money for produce and return it to 582 South Perry Avenue)
Volunteers needed every other Wednesday from 10am to 11am

Name of Volunteer Position: Village Wrench Workshop Assistant
Assist the Workshop Manager in simple repairs, moving inventory, bike sales, and administration at 8 Lois Avenue.
Volunteers work 2-8 hours/week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3-6 p.m. or Saturdays, 10 a.m.-3pm
No bike maintenance experience is required, but need background check and 1-hour orientation.
